A little bit of art for Murky Number Seven.

Trying some style emulation based on the art of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy

This image is the soul reason I'm about to start reading Murky Number Seven. Good job hun ! I thought the guy up top was a native american pony from the thumb nail haha.

The thing you did with the smoke from the towers is GENIUS! And I love the Hellboy style, it really fits Fillydelphia well! Hope you do more in this style :D

Very nice play with the style. A well-done mix of that Hellboy comic style but still with your own recognizable style in it. Gives a good effect of something new and different from your usual stuff while not actually being so far apart from it.

The structure of he picture itself is very good, some good symbolism built into it as a whole. The only thing I can say anything negative about is those big flat parts like the background sky and smoke really stands out against the heavily shaded detailed parts. But it's a minor thing that depends on how you look at it. Just makes the image seem a little unbalanced, the details making the bottom feel so much heavier than the top.

But still a wonderful piece for sure, loving it ^^

"And on that day, ponykind received a grim reminder of why they lived in fear of the titans..."

oh wait, wrong series.

Aw shit yeah, I dig this style you used here. And using the smoke from the smokestacks? This deserves an award.

An absolutely fantastic unique style to throw on it, especially given I've not had time to look up the Hellboy style you mentioned on Skype to me. As I said there, I could totally see this being a coverart for a Protégé centric chapter/spinoff with a title on it. It just has that awesome "cover highlight" imagery and theme behind it. :)

Thanks again for this wonderful piece. It's just great.

Now you have a second side story to write

Certainly one of the most villainous renditions of Red Eye we've seen!  And yeah I can totally see Mignola's influence here. :D

For some inexplicable reason I like to think of this pic (Protege notwithstanding) as being an NCR propaganda piece dating back to the first few months (years?) when they were fighting to seize Filly for their own.

Ah, MN7, one of the soul crushingly grim stories of Fo:E, bar none. I'd say you really did hit the style pretty well.
