This is seriously epic, even better than it was in my head. While in the original the blade was hovering and did the stabbing on its own, I honestly like this a lot better; it is far more ominous and aggressive.
I really do need to read some of the other FOE stories, but I'm a bit uneasy of just reading all of them. As it stands I've only read the original story because that's the one that started it all, Project Horizons because it was Kkat approved, and Pink Eye because it was relatively short and it's quirkiness. Any suggestions on must reads?
Also, awesome picture here. I love the lighting and shading since the spear is the only light source. Also the glowy eyes of doom.
I'd definitely suggest FOE: Heroes, it has great characters and a fun, snarky sense of humor.
Also FOE: Misfits and FOE: New Beginnings, both have alicorns as their main protagonists and their own respective, unique takes on how they adjust to life after the destruction of the Goddess.
Murky Number Seven is another must read. It's relatively new, with only three chapters out, but it's a very good read. The main protagonist is a born slave working in Fillydelphia under Red-Eye's control.
Luckily for Ochre, he isn't too thorough when it comes to killing his victims.
I kinda wonder if he'll show up again though. I'd almost be disappointed if he didn't appear again - of course, I wouldn't go back into the tunnels if I got my eye stabbed out, but still... Feels like a loose end that may come up later.
