Featuring his characters (from left to right) Straight Shot, Fixer, Scope, and Scipio.
There's so much action and horror to be found in the Wastes, sometimes it does a world of good to have your group take it easy for a night. :)

He'll post a journal offering slots once in a while. Make sure you be quick though, and not playing a game while your iPhone is the victim of a slow internet connection like mine was >_<

Hmm... I can see clear improvement in lineart compared to your previous works. I really like how clean the lines are and the variety in line weight. Quality pencil works seem rather rare since so many talented people seem to prefer digital.

Lighting seems to work well but it could be a bit smoother. I know scanners don't really give justice to pencil drawings so it might be mostly due to that. Though I would like to ask what tools do you use on these drawings?

Well I'll stop here before I start rambling more... So yeah. I like picture and the atmosphere seems very... I dunno... lifelike? realistic? Ehh words escape me now.

Thank you for the indepth feed back. :D I appreciate it.

Yeah, the lighting can be way better. I fear I got a bit lazy toward the end. For this picture, I used a my usual tool, a 0.5 mechanical pencil.

Thanks again!

I've found out that normal pencil works much better for shading compared to mechanical pencil. Mechanical is best for accurate details and lineart but you will get much smoother texture way with normal pencil while shading. Regular HB pencil also feels much softer to use and due to the larger point it is easier and faster to cover large areas. But thats like... just my opinion man... I hope I don't come out as too pushy or anything :P (there are also some advantages with softer pencils like 2B taht are good for really adding contrast and stuff.... but I'm not going to start rambling about that stuff now :P)

I love these quiet moments before the storm. It reminds me of Beethoven.

Great pic as usual, MisterMech.

Sometimes, even adventurers of the wasteland just needs to chill.

Very nice little scene of such thing ^^ Every character chilling each their way, with own poses and expressions and moods.

Yet again it's amazing how much personality and life you can breathe into the characters you draw off of pose and expression alone, Mech. Outstanding job. ^^

Also, I want to draw attention to the background. I feel like it could be any place from the recent Fallout games. I mean... broken sections of a building, a pile of junk, and... and filing cabinets! That's what gets to me!

The filing cabinets. XD no matter what. They are as much a fixture of the wasteland as the very radiation that seeps from it

It's rather interesting how cosy you've managed to make this feel just through the solid white lack of shading on the nearby walls alongside the more merry campfire manners. Despite being in a rotten ruined building all around in the dead of night amongst a wasteland, you've really sold the sense of a little warmth and security amongst themselves for but one night.

While I admit I'm a liiiiittle unsure of Scope's lower body shape in the image, I do like the little elements of what they carry with them. The water bottle on the rebar, discarded bottles and tins, bags, overcloaks...stuff so many people forget to add in that just sells the idea of survivors very well.

Thank you. :) I didn't want this to end up as a generic image of some characters sitting around, so getting all those details in their motions to the objects and trinkets with them was probably the most important thing.

Yay, it's here! And it looks awesome ^^ I don't see Scope's beret anywhere (that's okay, he could have just taken it off for the night ^^) You really captured how excited Fixer is all the time to be out in the Wasteland, like he's telling what he thinks is the most interesting story in the world even if it's just how he went into a building to look for some salvage. I like how Straight Shot's just chilling, just sitting there sleeping. I wonder what tired him out XD

You can tell how distant Scope is, too. Sitting back there away from everyone else, just checking his stuff.

And finally, I like how Scipio's all interested in Fixer's story, like one relatively sheltered Wasteland wanderer to another. His head looks a bit odd though, may just be how his head's turned...oh well.
