Absolutely wonderful stuff. Using parchment and blackened lines for those he cares about or believes in as his own drawn thoughts is exactly the sort of mentality that goes on in that little head of his. Like in your "Stand Firm!" pick, I love the little attentions to detail like, again, using parchment as a backdrop and the designated reddish group for Filly. Like he's tuning it all out around him to -just- the drawing.
Sterling work, Mech. I absolutely love it. Thank you!
Its not that good, though the concept has some merit it is ruined by the hamhandedness of which serious issues are delivered and the main character breaks my suspention of belief by virtue of existing. I could say more but that would be spoilers.
Hey DamHam, thanks for your honesty there. If it's not too much trouble, could I ask you to note me with what you feel that you had to hide for spoilers? I'm the kind of guy who likes to know why people are thinking things. It can only help over time to see how people percieve the story, good and bad.
i really did try and get into this one a while back, but by the time i hot the most recent chapter i was struggling to continue reading it because my attention had drifted elsewhere. it's not a BAD story, quite the opposite really, i just couldn't empathize with the hero because of our vastly different attitudes towards things.
